The Global Leadership Institute
The Global Leadership Institute is an organization made up of a multidisciplinary team, oriented to guide people in the development of an Extraordinary Leadership, which is the one that maximizes their performance, increases the levels of consciousness and well-being, and moves them to inspire others to achieve the same. We propose a virtuous path from Personal Leadership to Organizational Leadership, granting spaces both for the individual development and knowledge, as well as for optimizing organizational well-being and integration.
Our approach is integral, multidimensional and holistic, and we place the human being at the center of our work. We watch for a genuine balance between high effectiveness and happiness. We promote the teaching of leadership through our programs based on the contribution of the research oriented to human and organizational development.
We bring our professional and interdisciplinary perspective from a framework that integrates business and leadership schools, high performance sports, and multidimensional wellness with the implementation of standardized or exclusive programs in five areas of development.

Dr. Sandra Mahecha
Specialist in Sports Medicine. Ph.D. in Sciences of the Paulista School of Medicine - UNIFESP. Scientific Advisor and Founder of the Physical Activity Promotion Program: Agita São Paulo. Postgraduate Academic Director of the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad Mayor. Executive Director of Active Lifestyle Promotion at MEDS Clinic. Awarded of the International Olympic Sports Medicine Prize in 1992. Exemplary Intervention Program of Banco Santander in 2013 and 2014. “Citation Award” of the American College of Sports Medicine, 2014.
He has been one of the most outstanding executives in Chile during the last 30 years. Of Italian nationality, he arrived in Chile in 1980. He is a lawyer, graduated from the University of Padua, Italy. He was also two times General Manager of the Company Madeco and also served as General Manager of CCU, where he enhanced the value of these two companies; worldwide, only a few executives have been able to achieve such oustanding performance. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alusa.
Dr. Vatin Chalermdamrichai
He has an extensive experience in business, consulting and training for local and international organizations. He has worked performing diverse roles for leading consulting firms such as i2 Technologies (USA and Singapore), Accenture, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, and Hay Group. His experience is in the areas of Business Acumen, Human Energy Management and optimization of labor planning processes. In addition to being an experienced consultant, he is also a lecturer, investor, entrepreneur and has been actively involved in education for more than 20 years. He currently serves as Certified Plus Coach for Acumen Plus, an Acumen Learning franchisee and Johnson & Johnson Performance Institute, both international and recognized US companies.
Industrial Civil Engineer from the University of Chile, Master in Business at UNCC (MBA). 20 years of experience in management positions with emphasis in management, work team generation, marketing development, operations and sales. Experienced international lecturer on teamwork and leadership (+300). Professor of Business School Belk-UNCC and in international business courses and organizational-leadership development, guest professor at leading universities in Chile and at Wharton as well as visiting foreign business school programs in Chile. Co-author of the book "Leadership Catastrophe 27-F Learning" and Book Editor "Inclusive Leadership - Emerald / ILA". Member Directory ILA (International Leadership Association) Executive President.
Supports companies and public administrations in processes of organizational development and personal and horizontal leadership as consultant. He has held management positions in European and Latin American companies and in international and intergovernmental organizations, including the European Commission. Since 2008, he is a member of the Netherlands-based Institute for Human and Organization Development. He studied law and holds a master's degree in Urban Planning at the Catholic University of Santiago-Chile and a Ph.D. in Social Sciences from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, Paris. He has been a guest lecturer at European Universities and Alberto Hurtado University, Santiago.
Commercial Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. From 1997 to 2006 he worked for Banchile Inversiones (a subsidiary of Banco de Chile), where he became the Commercial Manager at the age of 29. The year 2004, he was awarded by Diario Financiero as one of the 50 young leaders of the country and in 2009 was interviewed in the TV program "Estudio del Líder". Businessman, he is currently a partner and serves as Executive Director of the following Chilean companies: Arstecne Systems Engineering, SMRA, Banquetera and Eventos Arkanos and also The Global Leadership Institute.
